What does "per device" mean?
Each license activates ∆-Hi! on one specific Mac, identified by a hardware fingerprint. Single Device = 1 activation. Multi-Device = up to 5 activations. Licenses are tied to the device, not the user.
Can I transfer a license to a new Mac?
Yes — just email us at delta-hi@bytevorous.com from the address you bought it with. We'll deactivate the old device and reissue for the new one, usually within a few hours. There's no fee and no limit on how often you can transfer.
Is the free trial really free forever?
Yes. Three gesture slots, no account, no card, no expiry. You also get cursor warp, window cycling, and the floating preview window in the free build.
What's the difference between Single and Multi-Device?
Only the number of activations. Single Device runs on 1 Mac for €15. Multi-Device runs on up to 5 Macs you personally own — work laptop, home Mac, Mac mini, etc. — for €40. Same features in both.
Is this a subscription?
No. Both paid plans are one-time payments. No recurring charges, no expiring license, no surprise renewal emails. All future updates are included for the life of the product.
Does my data leave my machine?
No. ∆-Hi! runs MediaPipe's hand-tracking model locally in WebAssembly. Camera frames, landmark data, and dispatch events never touch the network — there is no cloud component at all.
What does the Enterprise tier include?
Volume per-device licensing for teams or organisations, custom invoicing and PO terms, centralised license management, an onboarding session, a dedicated support contact, and optionally an SLA. Pricing depends on seat count — email us for a quote.
Which Macs are supported?
macOS 12 Monterey and later, on both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs. The Apple Silicon path uses native arm64 binaries; Intel uses x86_64. Both are tested and shipped.
What permissions does it need?
Camera access (required), Apple Events / Automation (auto-prompted the first time it opens an app), and Accessibility (only if you use Scroll gestures). Window cycling and cursor warp do not need Accessibility.
What's the refund policy?
14 days on the paid tiers, no questions asked — if ∆-Hi! doesn't fit your workflow within two weeks of buying, reply to your purchase email and we'll refund in full. The free tier has no expiry and nothing to refund — use it forever.
